Kelly Garni, founding member of Quiet Riot first met Sheri Moore in 1995 when she hired him to update her modeling portfolio. Their paths did not cross again until 18 years later. Upon their reunion they discovered that they had a lot of the same interests: photography, hiking, exploring abandoned mines and ghost towns - the duo has been inseparable ever since.
In 2015 the couple moved to Pioche, NV a small "living ghost town" three hours north of Las Vegas. It was the ideal place to pursue their explorations, find art supplies and practice photography. Kelly soon fell in love with a small tin shack and wanted it for his art studio.
After negotiating with the owner over a three month time span, Kelly and Sheri rented the building that initially Kelly planned to use it solely as a studio to create his art in... little did he know what he was about to transform this building into.
From an art studio, to an art gallery with a a coffee shop and a recently added cafe, Ghost Town Art and Coffee Co is hands down the coolest place to be in Pioche, and if you're lucky you may find Kelly jamming on his acoustic bass (and he's more than happy to have you join in!)
So stop in check it out! Have the best burger you've ever tasted, a cup of hot coffee and surround yourself with the coolest art you've ever seen.
